About Case Grader
Real people. Real tool. No gimmicks.
Who Built This
My name is Mike "Frost". I'm a designer and developer out of Houston, Texas. If you grew up on Houston rap music, you've probably seen my work — I designed album covers during the Swishahouse era and spent 20+ years in the Houston music and creative industry. These days I build AI-powered tools and run a creative studio called SLFEMP.
My wife, Michelle Acosta, is a personal injury attorney. She became a lawyer after surviving a violent attack on commercial property — corporate negligence nearly cost her her life. That experience drives everything she does. She fights for people who've been hurt because someone else was careless, and she takes it personally because she's been there.
I built Case Grader because Michelle doesn't want to be a billboard lawyer. She's worked at firms that run the boiler-room model — mass advertise, sign everybody, settle fast, move on. That's not her. She personally handles every case. She prepares every claim for trial. She knows her clients by name, not by file number. The tradeoff is she can't take a thousand cases a year, so the leads that come in need to be the right ones.
So instead of spending money on billboards, we're trying something different. I'm building creative tools — like this one — that actually help people understand their situation while connecting them with an attorney who will fight for them. No bait and switch. No intake call center. Just an honest evaluation and a real lawyer on the other end.
If your case isn't in Michelle's area of practice, or you're outside of Texas, she has great attorney friends all over the country and will personally connect you with someone she trusts. Nobody gets left without an answer.
We put this page here because transparency matters to us. You're not talking to a faceless corporation. You're using a tool built by a husband for his wife's practice, because we believe there's a better way to connect injured people with attorneys who actually care.
